Yes, that’s right! I’m back and excited to announce that I will be running the Falmouth Road Race on August 15, 2021 on behalf of Family Reach!

Family Reach, an organization that works directly with oncology social workers at over 500 top-tier hospitals and cancer centers nationwide to provide thousands of families in cancer treatment with critical navigation, planning, education, and emergency relief. Since 2003, they have helped more than 200,000 individuals from 50 states keep a roof over their head, put food on the table and maintain safe, reliable access to treatment. https://familyreach.org/

Why did I partnered with Family Reach? Because I personally experienced firsthand the challenges of Cancer-Related Financial Toxicity (CRFT) https://www.heraldtribune.com/article/LK/20041121/News/605236432/SH/

Family Reach is providing a platform for me to pay it forward and to help families (similar to mine) find relief.

This July marks 17 years since I lost my Mother to cancer, and 1 year ago that my Father started his Fight against an aggressive Cancer. With cancer affecting so many of my loves ones and those all around the world, I’m reminded that cancer does not discriminate who it affects, and cancer patients and caregivers need our help! 

Supporting Family Reach has become a strong passion of mine and I love what they represent. Through their mission and events I’ve been fortunate to meet some of the most remarkable families, hear their stories, and have been able to reflect on the importance of how much Family Reach has changed their lives.

And I’m back to help anyway I can! 

Family Reach is a financial lifeline for families fighting cancer. It provides HOPE and allows families to cherish the quality time they can spend with each other.
