Help Katie raise money

It's running season! This time around I'm running 7 miles to help raise funds for an amazing organization who provide world class service dogs for those in need. In my field of work, and even in my every day life, it seems like I hear much too often people asking how to obtain a service dog certificate for their own dog because...they are not allowed to have pets where they live, or they want to take their dog on a plane. Whatever the inappropriate reason is, it hurts the real service dogs and the people who really need them to lead their every day lives.

NEADS provides service dogs for adults and children with disabilities, for hearing assistance, for children with Autism or other developmental disabilities, assistance dogs for classrooms, hospitals, courthouses, ministry and therapeutic settings, and for veterans.

If I had to choose one thing that stands out to me the most about this organization, it would be that they provide service dogs at no cost to eligible veterans. They are able to do so thanks to generous donors and federal and state funding.

Please help me reach my goal and to raise money to help NEADS help those in need!

As you can see from my photo, my dog Winnie uses me as her service person to be her legs when she is tired!
