Help Katherine raise money

Hi friends! Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $500 for an incredible organization, March of Dimes. They are dedicated to making sure all moms and babies have an equal chance at a healthy and happy life. The United States ranks as one of the most dangerous developed nations to give birth, especially for moms and babies of color. It’s so critical that all current and future moms feel supported by their community and have access to the right resources so they can build the family they hope for.

During 2020 alone MoD: 

1) provided over 2100 NICU bags with necessary supplies

2) reached over 50k families to provide NICU support, including an online education series 

3) provided over 2000 patient visits to underinsured and uninsured women of child bearing ages free of charge 

4) reached 8200 providers through virtual training sessions focused on systemic racism and its impacts on maternal mortality rates, especially for women of color 

5) fought alongside other advocacy groups (and won) to extend Georgia’s postpartum care coverage with Medicaid from 60 days to 6 months
