My Story…
This year I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for the Herren Project. Their work provides support for individuals and families impacted by substance use. The Herren Project has helped me and countless others gain access to treatment and find long term recovery. Please help me in supporting this life changing organization and all of the amazing work they do!
Description
Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include:
- treatment placement assistance
- long-term recovery support for individuals and families
- online support groups
- prevention & wellness initiatives
- scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, & recovery coaching
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
