My Story…
Ok everyone I need your help! I am raising money for an amazing organization Moving Forward Inc. (movingforwardinc.org), that helps individuals along the spectrum be their best selves! My girl Ashley is actually pushing one of our beautiful patients in her rockstar chair while running the race! I am going to be at the finish line cheering them on, and am doing the race virtually but, want to raise money for this amazing organization to not only help other’s like Carol, but to also raise more awareness to this unbelievable organization! Every little bit helps, and trust me if you met Carol you would want to donate as much as possible! She is a loving, beautiful, fearless and sassy girl who doesn’t let anything or anyone get in her way, even with the challenges she faces everyday. Please check out their website and donate! Description
Moving Forward Inc's purpose is to provide Day and Employment Services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, social anxiety, and mild intellectual disabilities, transition to greater independence. Moving Forward is truly a special organization, intentionally designed small to aid individuals who can easily be lost in a larger organization. I am running to support the efforts of Moving Forward Inc whose basic principles are care and respect for all people.
Last year our Falmouth Road Race team raised funds to aid in major renovations needed to the newly purchased building on 45 White Cap Lane in West Barnstable. This year we would are focusing on the outdoor space. Moving Forward has major landscaping needs along with a desire for an sun sheltered outdoor meeting space.
