My Story…
Eduardo joined Team Stride for Stride during the pandemic and is excited to finally run his first in-person race - the Falmouth Road Race on August 15th. Eduardo is originally from Mexico and is a proud resident of Chelsea, MA who spent many hours during the pandemic supporting his community by volunteering at the Chelsea Collaborativa (La Colaborativa).
From Eduardo;
“My name is Eduardo Rodriguez And on Sunday the 15th I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race Hoping to bring another medal to the city of Chelsea. Honoring my community and its people by promoting fitness and wellness. I'll be running with team Stride For Stride And you can be part of this event by leaning more on what Stride for Stride is all about. Stride for Stride is a organization that cares about the community not only by buying race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC, and low-income runners, But also providing food assistance to low-income families and runners via Heart to Cart program - Heart to Cart buys supermarket gift cards for those who can't afford to eat.
I've been running on street of Chelsea for the past two years, Inspired by the colorful city and a wonderful community, Discovering hidden gems, Meeting people and eating some of the best foods Massachusetts has to offer. The Falmouth Road Race will be my first real race ever and You can help me get there by making a donation to my Fundraiser page. Your contribution will not only help me get to the legendary Falmouth race.. But it will make an impact to the community.”
