My Story…
I'm running to honor Glen and all of our special forces sailors and soldiers. Glen was one of my dad's best friends from Winchester, MA. I grew up hearing my dad's stories of Glen and their other friends. Most of them involved some kind of trip (often poorly planned) and they were always about the group. His military service as a Navy SEAL and contracting work afterwards was the same. His service and sacrifice to help in Benghazi and do everything he could to help his friends inspires me to this day. I know the current SEALs and other special forces would do the same. It's an honor to help them.
Please support the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation! It's mission is to provide financial resources to special forces sailors and soldiers as they leave military service and pursue college or advanced degrees or other training for the next stage of their careers.
