Hello Friends!
I am honored to be a part of the ALS One Falmouth Team! ALS One is a partnership of world-leading ALS researchers focused on a cure.
I know two amazing people that have been diagnosed with ALS in the past few years. This disease is devastating! Leo Cooney was diagnosed in 2017. Since then, he has lost the ability to eat on his own and needs assistance with his breathing. He has trouble walking and can't talk. Leo is a fighter! One of his motivations is to be able to see his beautiful daughter, Kaliegh grow up. He recently watched proudly, as she performed in her dance recital. Leo is a true warrior, and continues to fight everyday. #66BRAVE
I have another friend and fitness colleague, Bunni Rose-Walls. Bunni was a full time fitness professional who walked and talked the part. She would kick your butt on a spin bike but still make you feel loved! She is seeing the affects of her diagnosis in that she has lost feeling in her arms and is in a wheelchair. Bunni, known as Cape Cod's favorite trainer is also fighting hard against this disease. #BSTRONG!
