If you've made this far, thank you very much for clicking! I am running for the New England Hemophilia Association and will be donating to their chapter.

Many of you who are reading this probably know that I was born with Hemophilia. Although it doesn't affect my day to day, for many people it can be very serious where the option of sports and normal daily activity isn't an option. Hemophilia is a genetic disorder that creates problems with the body's blood clotting. Due to some deficiency's in the body, clotting may not form and prolonged bleeding can occur. With that said, the majority of people with hemophilia actually suffer from internal bleeds compared to minor cuts "bleeding out".

There are about 1,000 people with hemophilia in the New England region and an estimated 20,000 in the United States.
