Our Story
I am thrilled to be running in The Falmouth Road Race in support of the wonderful organization Live4Evan! As many of you know my precious nephew was born with congenital heart disease. This organization has provided his parents with much needed comfort over the past two years in knowing they had a place to stay during his surgeries.
Live4Evan provides temporary housing for families with CHD. They have housed over 50 families from around the world who have children being treated in Boston’s world-class heart centers. And the need for patient-family housing is ever growing. They are actively raising funds to open more home-away-from-home units for families traveling with sick children, saving them thousands of dollars on hotel and travel fees.
