My Story…
As many of you know my family has been involved with the Glen Doherty memorial foundation over the years. Glen was a close friend of my dad's in high school and was one of the four Navy SEALs killed during the 9/11 attacks in Benghazi in 2012. The foundation was started to give opportunities for other special ops individuals as well as their children through educational scholarships.
This year I will be running the Falmouth road race in support of GMDF and to honor Glen. It will be my first in-person chance to participate in this event and I’m super excited, to say the least. In the past, I’ve participated in and volunteered for the annual road race. From this first-hand experience, I can say that the community surrounding the foundation is truly incredible. With your help, I hope to contribute to our team goal and make an impact on the lives of our scholars!
