This year I will celebrate my 39th birthday at the end of August. You all know I love to run and what better way to celebrate than running for a cause?!? I'm personally asking friends to help me in this effort to support the nonprofit group Homes for our Troops. We live work and play in this beloved military community and I am honored to have the chance to support this project. Join me PLEASE! I'll be sure to share amazing photos from the race. It's set on the beautiful shoreline of Cape Cod!
Description
HFOT Mission: To build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured Post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar spent has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
