Hi everyone!
I am running the Falmouth Road Race August 15th with Team Big Nick. Marine Cpl. Nicholas Xiarhos from Yarmouth made the ultimate sacrifice at 21 years of age during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Most of you know me as a LEO wife...but I am also a former military spouse. Before entering into law enforcement, my husband Chris served in the USMC like Nick did. Chris was a Scout Sniper and received his Purple Heart from injuries sustained in Iraq. Running this race for the Nicholas Xiarhos Memorial Foundation Fund is important to me, as helping our veterans is near and dear to my heart. As many of you know, a lot of them suffer and sometimes it is unseen. If you know me, you know I am a people person. Your support and camaraderie will carry me during this race. No amount is too small. I have committed to raise $500. The funds from this race will specifically be going to Sandy Neck 4 Vets and Wags for Tags. I humbly thank you and God bless you.
