My Story…
Hi All-
I will be running in a little under two weeks in support of the Herren Project. All proceeds go to helping this national nonprofit that specializes in providing free resources for support, treatment and recovery prevention of substance use disorder. Since its start in 2011, the project has expanded to offer recovery scholarships, family support services, prevention programs for schools, and wellness initiatives for communities nationwide.

Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include:
- treatment placement assistance
- long-term recovery support for individuals and families
- online support groups
- prevention & wellness initiatives
- scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, & recovery coaching
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
