AND 10K
REGISTRATION TERMS + CONDITIONS
PARTICIPATION IN THE SEAWHEEZE 2021 VIRTUAL HALF MARATHON AND 10K IS OFFERED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. LIMIT: THIRTY THOUSAND (30,000) REGISTERED RUNS THROUGH THIS REGISTRATION METHOD, SUBJECT TO TERMS BELOW.
Registration and participation in the Events (defined below) is open to individuals who are the greater of eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in the jurisdiction where they reside, as of the date of registration. Registrants must have a Strava account (free) in order to register for the Events.
The registration period for the SeaWheeze 2021 Virtual Half Marathon and 10K (the “Event” or “Events”) will begin on July 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and will close the earlier of (i) September 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m PT, or (ii) the time at which the 30,000 registration limit has been reached (the “Registration Period”). To register, interested runners must access seawheeze.com, complete the registration form, pay the applicable fees, accept all terms and conditions required and click submit. A valid credit card must be provided to complete registration for the Events. Registrants and their registration details are subject to verification. Limit one (1) registration per person, per Event. All registrations must be completed during the Registration Period. Registration is offered on a first come, first served basis. Limit: Thirty Thousand (30,000) registered runs through this process, except that there may be other participants in the Events, such as some of the runners who deferred entry from 2020, lululemon employees and strategic partners, as determined by lululemon in its sole discretion. The SeaWheeze 2021 Virtual Half Marathon and 10K starts on September 18, 2021 at 12:01 am local time and closes on September 26, 2021 11:59pm local time (the “Challenge Period”). The Challenge Period starts and ends based on your local time zone. Your Event distance must be completed within the 24-hour period from starting your activity. All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three (3) days after the Challenge period closes. lululemon does not guarantee registration for the Events. Registered runners will be sent an email notification at the email address submitted with the registration confirming their accepted status on a rolling basis (“Notification”). PARTICIPATION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Deferred Runners: If you chose to defer your 2020 SeaWheeze registration until 2021, you may register from July 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m PT and July 22, 2021 at 11:59pm PT (the “Deferred Registration Period”), using the promotion code lululemon provided you. Your deferred runner promotion code is good for registration into one (1) Event. If you choose to register for both Events, however, registration for a second Event is subject to availability on a first come, first served basis, and subject to applicable standard registration fees. If the 30,000 registration limit has been reached before the end of the Deferred Registration Period you may still register for your Event by emailing support@seawheeze.com at which point you will be given further instructions. You may also attempt to register for the Events thereafter during the normal Registration Period, however, your registration after the Deferred Registration Period may be subject to availability on a first come, first served basis.
lululemon is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, or misdirected entries or communications, or electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in individual’s email account to receive email messages.
The US$5.00 entry fee for each Event (SeaWheeze 2021 Virtual Half Marathon & 10K) includes:
- A distance-specific digital badge for your Strava trophy case
- A comprehensive training plan developed by lululemon global ambassador, Rob Watson, specfically: an 8-week training plan for the 10K; and a 10-week training plan for the half marathon
All registration fees are non-transferrable and nonrefundable.
All participants must be familiar with and abide by all of the event rules set out in the event FAQs, located at seawheeze.com. The Events are hosted on the Strava platform, and registrants must also abide by the terms and conditions of the Strava platform and/or the Strava application https://www.strava.com/legal/terms in connection with the Events.
By registering for the Events, each person agrees: (a) that they may be contacted in person, by phone, or by e-mail, with respect to the Events and/or registration for the Events; and (b) that lululemon athletica canada inc., lululemon usa inc., and all of their affiliates and franchisees, and the representatives, directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteer staff of each of the foregoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced registration attempts or registrations, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunction, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to a registrant or any other person's computer related to or resulting from registration for, attempted registration for, or otherwise associated with the Events. Registrants must additionally agree to the Waiver, Release, Indemnity And Consent in order to register for and partipate in the Events.
Privacy: All information submitted in connection with the registration for the Event will be treated in accordance with these rules, the Waiver, Release, Indemnity and Consent and lululemon’s Privacy Policy available at https://info.lululemon.com/legal/privacy-policy. By registering for the Events and by participating in the Events, each person agrees to these privacy policies.
If for any reason registration for one or both Events is not capable of being executed as planned due to any event of force majeure, including an act of God, flood, fire, earthquake, tsunami, explosion, governmental action, war, invasion or hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest, national emergency, revolution, insurrection, cyberattack, epidemic, pandemic, lockout, strike or other labour dispute (whether or not relating to our workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials, materials or telecommunication breakdown or power outage, or anything outside Sponsor’s control, or if tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of lululemon corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Events, lululemon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any particpant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Events and/or registration for the Events, as lululemon determines in its sole discretion. Registrants and participants in Events not complying with these Terms and Conditions are subject to disqualification.
If any provision(s) of these Term and Conditions is held to be invalid, unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions, and all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia. Each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the provincial and federal courts located in British Columbia with respect to resolution of disputes arising under this document.
By registering for the Events and by participating in the Events, each person agrees to the above terms.

2021 SeaWheeze Donation Information
Here To Be Non-Profits. Lululemon has selected the following three U.S. non-profits as the 2021 SeaWheeze Here To Be non-profits (the “Non-profits”):
- Back On My Feet, Inc. a Pennsylvania corporation, Land Title Building, 100 S Broad Street, Suite 2136, Philadelphia PA 19110. Back on My Feet combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. https://backonmyfeet.org/
- Black Men Run Corp, a Georgia domestic nonprofit corporation 9925 Haynes Bridge Rd. Suite 200-223, Alpharetta, GA 30022. Black Men Run focuses on increasing health awareness among African American men. https://blackmenrun.com/
- Girls on the Run International Inc., a North Carolina non-profit corporation, PO Box 30667 PMB 65493, Charlotte, NC 28230. Girls on the Run is an after-school program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength. https://www.girlsontherun.org/
Copies of the financial statement of each of these Non-profits is available upon request.
Donations. lululemon will donate to and equally among the three Non-profits (1) all valid US$5.00 registration fees paid to lululemon by a registered runner for the 2021 SeaWheeze Virtual Half Marathon Challenge and/or for the 2021 SeaWheeze Virtual 10k Challenge (each an “Event”) and (2) US$5.00 for each valid waived registration fee for 2020 deferred runners who register for an Event using the applicable deferred 2020 runner promotional code during the Event registration process. To be eligible to generate a donation, all Event registrations must be completed during the registration period beginning July 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and closing the earlier of (i) September 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PT, or (ii) the time at which the 30,000 registration limit has been reached. All donations will be divided equally among the three Non-profits. Approximate maximum total donation: Fifty Thousand US Dollars (US$50,000) per Non-profit.
Your US$5.00 registration fee for SeaWheeze is not tax deductible and does not constitute a donation made by you to the Non-profits.
General. Subject to any governmental approval that may be required, lululemon reserves the right to, without prior notice, modify these details at any time.
