Ready. Set. Gleaux!
On Thanksgiving Eve (Nov 24th), light up the night sky with us by wearing things that GLEAUX as we run or walk down Camellia Blvd for the 18th Annual Camellia Crossing: Acadiana's Gleaux Run. Your registration fee and the funds you raise will make a direct impact on lives in Acadiana. Start a TEAM with your family, friends, and co-workers and discover the difference you can make together! All funds raised stay in Acadiana to fund our mission to help families fight, survive, and live with cancer. This night of family fun begins at 5:30pm in Town Square River Ranch.
NOTE: Since this is a charitable fundraising event, registration fees are non-refundable, but can be converted to a donation or transferred to another participant. Contact us at 337-984-1920 by Friday, November 19th for either option.

Geaux the Extra Mile (Additional Option) ---You Want One of These!
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to pause in thanks and to share with those in need. And this year, we have a special way for you to help families in Acadiana fighting cancer at Camellia Crossing: Acadiana's Gleaux Run! A $25 donation with your registration provides a fun, colorful bib to recognize your generosity in Going the Extra Mile for our neighbors. The donation will help purchase wigs, nutritional supplements, medical supplies, and more, which Miles Perret Cancer Services provides to families at no charge.
Select this additional option on the registration screen. You want one of these!!!
Team Info
How many people do you need to create a team?
You must have 3 or more people to make a team. There is no maximum size limit. Teams can be formed from groups of co-workers, friends, families, or a combination of these. The more the merrier!
Is there a fee to register a team?
No, there is no extra cost involved to start a team. The registration fee will be the same per participant based on age.
Can team members be added after the November 17th deadline?
Unfortunately, no. This deadline allows us to have time to prepare all participant packets by team so that only one person has to pick up the team packets. However, individuals can sign up through race day, and still walk with their team members. Money raised/donations will not be added to the team count and the size of the team cannot be changed. Race packets will be under that individual’s name vs. the team name.
Who picks up the team packets?
Team Captains, or a designated representative, will be responsible for picking up packets & t-shirts for the entire team during Packet Pick-up and are responsible for getting them to their team members. Team packets can NOT be split for individual pick-up. Packets not picked up during Packet Pick-up will be available in the Pre-Registration tent in Town Square starting at 4:30pm.
Do teams have to walk/run together?
There is no "relay” component, so teams can walk/run the race together or separately. You choose! So rally your team together, and join us in giving thanks one step at a time.
Does our team have to fundraise in order to participate in the race?
While, fundraising is not required, it is strongly encouraged. It can be as simple as rounding up your registration fee, or asking 5 friends to donate $5.00. Together with your team, you can make a difference in the lives of local families fighting cancer! 100% of your donations/money raised stays in Acadiana! Set a team goal, and make a much greater impact than you could alone.
