2021 Madison Mini Marathon, 5K & Kids' Run

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC?

If the in-person event is cancelled by the University of Wisconsin, the City of Madison, Dane County, the State of Wisconsin, the Federal Government or Race Officials due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, registered in-person race participants will be able to choose one of the following options based on when the event cancellation occurs*:

• If the in-person event is cancelled prior to March 31, 2021, participants may choose to have their in-person race registration fee:
  • Refunded in full, less any processing fees*
  • Converted from in-person registration to virtual registration**
  • Deferred to 2022 event registration (no extra fee to participate in 2022)
  • Donated to support Girls on the Run South Central Wisconsin
• If the in-person event is cancelled April 1 – May 31, 2021, participants may choose to have their in-person race registration fee:
  • Refunded 50%, less any processing fees*
  • Converted from in-person registration to virtual registration**
  • Deferred to 2022 event registration (no extra fee to participate in 2022)
  • Donated to support Girls on the Run South Central Wisconsin
• If the in-person event is cancelled June 1 – Race Day, participants may choose to have their in-person race registration fee:
  • Converted from in-person registration to virtual registration**
  • Deferred to 2022 event registration (no extra fee to participate in 2022)
  • Donated to support Girls on the Run South Central Wisconsin

*Applies to in-person event registration only.

**If the in-person event is cancelled, only those registered for a virtual race experience will receive the 2021 race kit.

All store purchased items are non-refundable and will be shipped to the participants in the event that the race is transformed into a Virtual Only Event.
