Hello, I'm Niki, thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Fun Facts:

When IMPAKT Housing & Support needed members of a Running Team, I excitedly jumped up "me, me, me" - ( Far too competitive for my own good)

I've been meaning to run the Bedford Half since it first began. ( I have a million procrastinating excuses why I haven't done so yet)

I used to run a lot.... (These days you're more likely to find me on the Yoga Mat doing Sun Salutations )

Im young fit and healthy.... ( I'm 42 and was pretty poorly with COVID in January and still feeling the effects)

I completed the Stroud Half Marathon in 2hrs 6mins. - ( Lets see if I can get over the line before trying to smash a PB from 11 years ago)

So why am I doing this? IMPAKT Housing & Support have many projects in Bedfordshire Communities, all of which pull on my heart strings. 

IMPAKT Domestic Abuse run two Women's Refuges and a Resettlement Team

IMPAKT Food offers a Community Larder, distributing surplus goods to anyone who needs it.

IMPAKT Young People run fun activity filled Afterschool and Holiday Clubs, with the majority of their places offered at no cost.

IMPAKT Interiors and Preloved have two social enterprise retail projects.

IMPAKT Housing run six community housing projects.

IMPAKT Skills provide training and life skills to service users across the Housing Projects and Refuges

Like all Not For Profit organisations, last year was tough, COVID restrictions meant that fundraising was difficult and at the same time the need for the services increased.

So here we are, I hope our Team can inspire you to sponsor us, not only for the actual event but also for our training efforts this Spring and Summer.
