WHO ARE WE?
H.O.P.E was started in 1982 by Fred Logan and his friends as part of a group of events inspired by Terry Fox, whose sole purpose was to give back to the Ottawa Community. To date, H.O.P.E's mission and purpose is to raise funds for those in need in our community as well as community-based charities. Now as then, our goal is to serve our community by serving up fun and by... Helping Other People Everywhere!
HOW WILL YOUR FUNDRAISING HELP?
H.O.P.E's impact on our community is very widespread- All funds raised will support our community in an array of ways. This means your gift will help thousands of people in need. Some recent examples of support that H.O.P.E has provided are:
1) Bags of H.O.P.E: H.O.P.E provided Bages of toiletries and necessities to 40 homeless teens in need that were residing at the Youth Services Bureau.
2) Snow Angels: H.O.P.E partnered with the Ottawa Snow Suite Fund through their Snow angles initiative this past winter and donated funds that helped provide over 50 thousand snowsuits to children in need in the Ottawa Community.
3) Caldwell Family Centre Christmas Support: We helped feed over 25 families through the Caldwell Family Centre's Christmas Hamper Program by donating gift cards to distribute to families in need in the Caldwell Carlington neighborhood.

HOPE continues its history of reaching out to, participating with and giving back to our community all year around. These many successes are made possible because of the support of several committed stakeholders. First, and foremost, HOPE is a volunteer led and driven organization. It depends on the efforts of an active board of directors, a volunteer membership body. The volunteers are assisted by a small, dedicated staff. We require Help through your donations so we can continue to give back to needy local charities all year around. Please Help us Help Other People Everywhere.
