Due to the ongoing uncertainties surrounding large group events, we want to provide options for our racers. However, we hope the safety measures put in place for this event will help racers feel safe and comfortable. With large upfront costs of organizing these events there will be some restrictions for how the transfer of registration fees will be handled.
Jackass Refund Policy:
- Due to the long-term nature of planning for events and the many pre-sunk costs upfront for the race organization, refunds will not be allowed. However, if you would like to participate in the event virtually, we will send your t-shirt, bib, and medal in the mail after race day.
- Person-to-Person transfers will be allowed anytime before packet pick-up on October 1, 2021. Shirt sizes will be limited to what is available and/or what was originally ordered at the time of registration. Person-to-Person transfers can be completed from the online registration page under your profile.
- Event transfers will be available for racers choosing to move from the half marathon to the 5k or vice versa. If a runner plans to change from the half marathon to the 5k, they will not receive the difference in their registration price. However, if a participant wants to upgrade to the half marathon, they will be responsible for paying the difference.
- Unfortunately will not be offering race deferrals this year. We hope to set this up for next year!
- Although it is very unlikely, if for some reason the live event cannot be held due to local or state mandates, we will either shift the event to a virtual format or refund all participants their registration fees.
