The 2022 Transfer Period is open.
We know that sometimes life happens and circumstance arise that keep you from your running goals. We are happy to offer race transfers again this year. If you are not able to run CIM this year and would like to transfer your bib to another runner you can do so here. You may also be able to find a runner to tranfer your bib to in the 2022 Transfer Your Entry – Friend Finder.
Here is how it works:
- Log-in to your Race Roster account here
- On this page, towards the top right corner click the transfer button
- Select transfer to a new participant
- Enter the email address of the runner taking your bib
- The incoming runner will be sent an invitation to register
- The incoming runner pays a $40 transfer fee to register
- It is up to you and the incoming runner handle any exchange of money for the original entry fee.
- The transfers apply to marathon only. Add-ons and comp'ed entries are non-transferable.
Transfers need to be completed before November 7 to guarantee that the new runner can receive their desired shirt size.
Transfers will not be allowed after November 21. (please note that we will not have the deferral program as in years past)
Voucher Code Holders from 2020 cancelled event: Worry free voucher codes are now expired for the 2021 marathon but will still be valid for 2022 or 2023.
Access Codes: All runners eligible for access codes have been sent their codes. Please do not contact us requesting an access code.
Refund Policy: We will provide refunds to all registrants ONLY if the event is unable to be conducted as an in-person event, or their registration cannot be finalized due to imposed registration caps or other regulations (ie vaccine mandate, out-of-state restrictions, etc.). Registrants should also consider that certain event details and amenities are still being determined due to changing health guidelines, and refunds will NOT be provided due to changes in the event details/amenities/services offered, including but not limited to: spectator presence, start time and procedures, event transportation, on-course services, pace teams, gear check, and pre and post race amenities and experiences.
Also, we do NOT provide any refunds for registrants that are unable to participate for any reason if the event is conducted. If you register and are unable to participate, you will NOT be refunded or credited for any reason.
Note: Our traditional deferral program will not be available this year; registrants that are not able to participate due to their own personal circumstances will NOT have the option to defer to 2022.
Transfers: New this year! If you are not able to run this year but have a friend or family member who would like to take your spot, you now have the option to transfer your entry to a replacement runner. The runner coming in will pay the $40 transfer fee. If you are wanting reimbursement for your original entry fee it is between you and the new runner to make arrangements for the exchange of money.
To initiate the transfer, click the transfer button on this page. You will need the email address of the incoming runner. An email will be sent to the new runner with registration instructions. Once they register your entry will be made inactive. That is it! Email info@runsra.org with questions.
