I'm extremely excited to be running the Nantucket 250 for the Travis Roy Foundation. The Nantucket 250 is a 2 month, virtual race of 250 miles from Boston to Nantucket, by way of Tabor and Cape Cod. This will be my first fundraising run for Travis since he passed away last year. I miss my buddy every day. I miss texting him funny boat names that I would see while running in the marina, I miss exchanging yummy seafood recipes and I miss laughing together on the phone about really anything. Travis and I were always friends at Tabor, he was friends with everyone, but we really bonded after his accident when he created his foundation. I love running for the Travis Roy Foundation. I love running for Travis and I love running every morning because I know he's right beside me, pushing me, cheering me on and inspiring me to be a generous contribution to the world.
