IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 8.20.31
After thoughtful consideration and consultation with medical experts, West Cancer Foundation leadership has made the difficult decision to celebrate this year’s West Fight On virtually. As a healthcare organization it is the right decision to protect cancer patients, their families, and our entire community as COVID-19 cases continue to rise and put a strain on our healthcare systems. We are all disappointed as Fight On is not only one of the highlights of the year but is also the largest fundraiser for West Cancer Foundation.
While our gathering may not happen this year, the fight against cancer NEVER stops. We will continue raising money to ensure cancer patients in our community have access to the care and resources needed to Fight On to beat cancer. We appreciate your continued support of West Cancer Foundation as we help cancer patients today and fund the treatments of tomorrow.
We have been so overwhelmed by everyone’s positive response and support. Since our announcement last week about changes to the event, you have continued to raise an additional $23,000 for the fight against cancer. This speaks to the commitment, generosity, and resiliency of our community, and we are incredibly grateful.
