Race Rules:
- Running under another person’s name is strictly prohibited. Doing so will result in disqualification and will jeopardize the participation in future Grandma’s Marathon events for all involved parties.
- All 5K participants will receive a race bib, which must be pinned on all 4 corners to the FRONT of your outermost layer. Do not alter your bib in any way. The silver tag on the back of your bib is for timing and recording your results.
- Please complete the emergency medical information on the back of your race bib.
- No motor vehicles, bicycles, handcycles, hand-cranked wheelchairs, roller skis, inline skates or unofficial participants are allowed on the 5K or Spider Dash racecourses. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed; please line up in the back of the starting line pack.
- Dogs and other pets are NOT ALLOWED on the racecourse. For the safety of everyone involved, anyone who brings a pet on race day will not be allowed to participate.
Net proceeds from the North End Nightmare 5K go to benefit the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF), which was created in 1990 to assist with the promotion and development of healthy and active lifestyles for youth throughout Carlton, Cook, Douglas, Lake, and St. Louis Counties. Since its inception, the YAF has donated more than $1 million to the community’s youth athletic and recreational organizations. |
