Crazy Legs 5k Trail Run

Here are the FYI’s for Saturday’s race:

-Race is located at Creek Ridge County Park 7943 W 400 N, Michigan City, IN 46360

-Race day sign ups at 12:15 pm. Race day fees are $25 only cash and check if you using cash exact change is much appreciated.

-Race starts at 1:00 pm central time

-Course is marked with flags and directional signs

-The course is two loops with one hill each loop. The route has roots and small branches maybe snow or mud. PLEASE be cautious

-Runners must follow all CDC safe distancing guidelines.

-Runners must be in good health and symptom free from any illness for at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

-We are doing old school timing with popsicles sticks please turn these sticks in ASAP

-We will start near the outdoor shelter. Please spread out and seat yourself based on pace.

-Runners need to wear masks for pre/post races activities. There will be no formal awards ceremony. If you win overall or top three in the age group you will receive your medal.

-Pre-packaged snacks, water and Gatorade will be available at the shelter after you finish. Please practice social distancing and hand sanitizer will be available.

-I will be selling old race shirts for $1

Come experience beautiful Creek Ridge County Park by running the Crazy Legs 5k Trail Run. The course is two loops around the park include in the course is one hill you will run twice. Terrain could be frozen, snow covered or dry start out 2021 right. All runners/walkers will receive a one-size-fits-all hat and gloves. The start time of this race is 1:00 pm so you can participate in other events in the morning or sleep in and come to this race.
