My Story…
Living through the last year of waxing and waning lockdowns, you may have come to realize how important it is to be able to get outside and connect with nature. Yet at the same time, the COVID-19 pandemic has created financial challenges for the very organizations that work to keep natural spaces healthy and available for public use, like The Riverwood Conservancy (TRC).
For the 2021 Mississauga Marathon, I'll be running 10K - with a portion of that distance on Riverwood's nature trails - to support TRC's conservation work and environmental education programs for people of all ages and abilities.

Description
The Riverwood Conservancy is the charity that provides programs and direction for Riverwood – the 150-acre, urban nature preserve situated on the shores of the Credit River in Mississauga. Working together with like-minded groups and individuals, our mission is to enable people of all cultures, ages, and abilities to respectfully connect with nature and learn about the importance of protecting, conserving and restoring natural spaces for the well-being of future generations – all while experiencing the beauty of the Riverwood gardens.
