The Big Bill Big 5K

Find your happy pace and get the new year started off on the right foot with a 5K run!! The Big Bill Big 5K will take place at Nathan Benderson Park on 1/2/2021. Set some big goals for your 2021, lace up your shoes and start taking steps to achieve those dreams with positivity, determination and a big heart.

The Big Bill Big 5K is produced by the Big Bill Foundation and Fit2Time, in memory of Fit2Run founder Bill Robinson. Always leading with a smile, positivity and passion for family, Mr. Robinson was a cheerleader for runners at every level. He believed in big dreams, big smiles and a big heart for family and friends.

The mission of the Big Bill Foundation is to provide scholarships to participate in extracurricular activities for youth that have battled childhood cancer or other life-threatening conditions. Honoring the memory of Bill Robinson, the Big Bill Foundation is striving to bring the benefits of extracurricular activities, such as sport, music, and art to the lives of children that have fought the hardest battle.

The race will offer a staggered start. To ensure social distancing and runner safety, runners will select their scheduled start time from pre-determined time blocks. Starting time blocks will be capped, so register early to secure your preferred start time! There will be no race day packet pickup or registration due to covid precautions. Age group awards will be available for pickup at Fit2Run UTC on 1/4/2021.

All participants will receive a race shirt, face covering and finisher's medal. Runners are asked to please wear face coverings outside the race course, but they are not required while running.
