My Story…
The Reflection Run is near and dear to my heart. The Reflection Run raises money for Northwest Battle Buddies which is an organization in Battle Ground, WA, that trains service dogs for combat veterans with PTSD. It costs $25,000.00 to train one dog. These dogs go through 7 months of training before they meet a veteran who has been specifically matched with the dog. After they meet the veteran and dog train for 5-6 weeks before they graduate. This program is truly life saving for these veterans who suffer suicidal thoughts everyday. If my son, Jeffrey, had one of these dogs, I firmly believe he would still be with us. Thank you for your gifts.
