Run Into the New Year with the 2021 New Year New Me 5K!


About The Race

Over 600 athletes combined to start their New Year's Resolutions off on the right foot in 2020 and now it is your turn to get your 2021 started off on the right foot! Kick off your New Year's Resolutions on January 3rd, 2021 at Tradewinds Park! You definitely want to make this your first race of 2021 with an even more exciting finisher medal than 2020 and a Performance T-Shirt for all! New to this year's race, CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the top 3 overall Male & Female Runners! We will be implementing extensive safety measures to ensure that all our participants, staff and volunteers are kept safe during this race.


This race will run through the beautiful Tradewinds Park, this is a flat and fast course, this course is perfect for you to run into the New Year with a new PR!


Timing

Chip Timing will be provided by Southern Timing with LIVE results, results kiosks, individual results page with a 20 second clip of you crossing the Start and Finish line! Results will be streaming live on race day to www.southerntimingfl.com/results


Swag

Runners will receive a performance T-Shirt, custom race bib, finisher medal, finisher certificate and individual results page with a finish line video that will show you coming across the finish line to be shared with family and friends on social media! Untimed Walkers/Runners will be given a performance shirt, custom race bib without a timing chip and a finisher medal.


Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-up will be held at Runners Depot at Coral Springs on 1/2 from 2pm-6pm. If you cannot make it to packet pick-up please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time on race morning.



Awards

Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall Male & Female Finishers.

Age Group Awards will be given out to the top 3 Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups:

5 & Under, 6-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over


COVID-19 Safety Plans

This race will start in 10 waves of 15 going off every 5 minutes, all participants and staff are required to undergo a temperature screening and must wear masks at all times unless on the racecourse.
