Raise money for Pink Lemonade Project

Pink Lemonade Project's (PLP), a not-for-profit founded in 2010, primary goals are to provide emotional, psychological, financial, and community support to patients diagnosed with breast cancer and survivors across Oregon and SW Washington. PLP's purpose is to increase the survival for women and men with breast cancer and to improve the quality of their lives and those of their families.

Nationwide, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, and in the Pacific Northwest, the rate is 1 in 7 women. One percent of men get breast cancer too. It is the second leading cause of death in women, and the survival rate is significantly lower for women of color.

The PLP seeks to reduce the inequities facing breast cancer patients and survivors. Last year, PLP served 791 individuals, 31% more individuals over the prior year and across SW Washington and Oregon.
