Help Wendy raise money

In August of 2018 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. While cancer was not new to our family, it was the first time anyone had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was very fortunate to have a wonderful support system of family and friends to help me through my 8 chemo sessions, a 9-day stint in the hospital, my mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery. I was lucky to find the Breast Friends of Oregon support group. I participated in their Bald is Beautiful program and this helped me a lot processing the loss of my hair. As the years have continued on, I have found more and more of my friends are being diagnosed with breast cancer. Participating in this fundraiser is an easy way (hopefully) for me to give back to a support group that helped me out during an unimaginable time in my life.
