Don't Touch Me! Hello 2021! Races

Sue’s Soap Creations was born out of the necessity of having a natural soap that did not dry out your skin from washing your hands multiple times a day due to the pandemic. Sue has created a line of all-natural artisanal soaps of varying bases, with aromatic scents and playful designs and shapes. Sue has also created a Dog Wash Soap on a Rope to help sooth your furry friend and leaving them clean and soft. All soaps and products are made in Port Dover.

Specially chosen for our Don’t Touch Me! Races – FROST – a clear glycerin base body soap that is like a walk on a cold, crisp winter day. Fresh air and frostiness with a *hint* of peppermint. This Euro size bar is great for hand washing or as a body bar.

Proceeds help to support Animal Rescue through the Wash Your Paws Project.

Aunt Jackie’s Masks are made locally in Dundas from high quality quilters cotton. Jackie has personally made over 3000 masks since the end of March.

When Jackie’s home daycare of 20+ years was forced to close this year, Jackie decided to do the next best thing to continue to support her community, by using her talents to make safe and comfortable masks.

The two fabrics chosen for the Don’t Touch Me! Races are both unisex and adult sizes. You can choose which mask you would prefer, the Blue Snowflake or the Cactus Mask. All masks made come with the features below and can be worn with the solid colour fabric on the outside. The Blue Snowflake is paired with a navy backing, while the Cactus mask is jade green.

Whether you are running one of our three Virtual races or our In-Person 5k, you will receive you Don't Touch Me! Hello 2021! Race Bib

Virtual

Instructions will be provided via email and on the back of your bib on how you can time yourself and record your time. All the results will be posted online. Finisher's Certificates will be available through the results!

In-Person

Directions will be provided on the back of your bib to help you navigate the 5k course, in case you forget the directions because you are overjoyed by the light displays! There will also be a timing chip on the back of your bib that will read in the start/finish box to record your time. Results will be posted online and Finisher's Certificates will be available.

I acknowledge and accept

I will obey traffic laws and will only cross intersections when it is safe to do so. I understand that there is no traffic control or volunteers on the course. I will also respect other walkers and cyclists on the courses at all times.

I acknowledge that the courses where Chiptime Results Event’s take place, I will be on my own and that I should ensure all safety precautions for myself. In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during any of my run/walk(s) that the organizers are in no way liable and I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.

I also agree to follow the COVID-19 guidelines set by the City of Hamilton and my province/country and to practice physical/social distancing guidelines.

I understand there will be no refunds for bibs not used during the dates the event is open. If for whatever reason the event has to be cancelled, there will be no refunds given.
