You may defer the original registration fee one time to next year's race at NO CHARGE. BCS runners have the option to defer their original registration to the 2021 marathon or half. Deferring an entry guarantees a spot in the 2021 marathon or half marathon by waiving participation in the 2020 marathon or half. The registration that you paid for this year's race then gets you into next year's race. You must register for the deferral no later than 1/31/2021.
If you register for a deferral you will receive a promo code for a free entry to the 2021 BCS Marathon or Half Marathon when we open the 2021 registration. It will be sent to you via email. You will then need to register for the 2021 race using that code.
