During the Bali team challenge your team will work together to virtually run around the islands of Bali and (if you’re fast enough) the neighbouring island of Lombok.
Start anytime after the challenge begins. Distance completed by anyone on the team at any time gets added to the team total!
Watch your team move along a map of the island, and zoom in to Google street view to see the sites as you work your way along the route!
Unlock special badges as you progress, and get a chance at prizes from our partners.

How it Works
Get a team captain to register your team. The team captain will get an email giving them access to the Virtual Baton app. Use the app to invite runners to your team.
Your team members can be located anywhere in the world!
Run, walk, hike, or hit the treadmill. Add your activities to Strava, then use Virtual Baton App to add your distance to your team total.
Follow your team’s progress on the leaderboard and on an interactive map to watch your team move around the island.
Complete the goal distance before the challenge ends to unlock special digital badges and a code for an embroidered finisher's patch!

Every week we run a prize draw and give away prizes from our partners. Every registered team is automatically included in the weekly prize draws!

Entry
Team Entry - USD $60 per team ($15/runner)
Basic team entry includes:
- Entry for up to four runners
- Digital Bali - Lombok Challenge badges
- Embroidered iron-on finisher's patch (just pay shipping & handling)
- Entry into all of the prize draws
- A two month long virtual race experience with with friends (possibly a bit less than two months if you run really fast…)
Only the team captain needs to register. After you register you will receive a confirmation email with a team code that you can use to add runners to your team.
