Help Danielle raise money

Hello Everyone,

My name is Danielle Deslauriers, and I am a Firefighter Primary Care Paramedic with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo - Fort McMurray (RMWB-FM).  I have been working within Emergency Services for 9 years, and over the course of my carrier I have become increasingly aware of the importance of self care and what it means to be "fit for duty" - which encompasses the physical, mental, and emotional sides.  

One of my personal goals after having a major surgery in April 2021 was to run a full marathon by the time I reach 40 years old.  With no prior experience running any distance longer than 5km, I will be taking small steps to achieve the 42 km distance.  I will running in the Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon - 10km Individual event in October 2021.   My husband Kyle Beckley (who is also a First Responder with the RMWB-FM) will be running the 21km Half Marathon Individual event.
