Our story…
We are fundraising in honor of our sweet daughter Hazel Rae, stillborn on July 30, 2020. We were lucky to have a photographer from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep do a session with us. It is impossible to describe how much these pictures mean to us. The session and photographs are free, which is so important for families dealing with pregnancy loss. Not only do families have all the expected hospital expenses from delivering a baby, but also funeral costs. As a nonprofit, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep relies on donations to be able to continue providing these photography sessions to families. We are fundraising in honor of Hazel so that every family experiencing pregnancy loss has the opportunity to have beautiful pictures of their baby that they can treasure forever, like we do with ours.
