My Story…
Since my son Andrew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last year at Akron Children's Hospital, I have turned to running to help find peace and ready myself for the challenges of supporting a five-year-old battling cancer.
Andrew and our family have found an incredible partner in that fight with the phenomenal people at Akron Children's Hospital! They have taken an awful experience, no family should ever have to endure and embraced us. They are healing Andrew, supporting us, and walking with us on every step of his journey.
Last year thanks to the incredible people in our lives, Andrew's story was able to help capture the attention of people around the world and raise nearly $20,000 to support Akron Children's Hospital!
