This season's Snowball Series will take place but in a bit of a unique fashion. The four-race series is designed to encourage you through the coldest months of the year while promoting health, fitness, and fun for people of all ages and abilities. Each week's race distance will be between 3-5 miles. Come as you are, bring some friends, and join our Winter running family.
The in-person Series is limited to 750 participants. Runners will be sent out in groups of 50 every 5 minutes. Runners can select their wave start time during registration. This year's series features 4 races of different distances, starting at 5K (3.1 miles) and steadily increasing to 5 miles. While all in-person events are at the same location, four unique courses will be offered: 5K, 6K, 4 Miles and 5 Miles.
Series participants receive a heavyweight 1/4 zip embroidered sweatshirt and custom interlocking finishers medals that fit together to create a single master medal that depicts a unique design!
Can't make it to the in-person events but want to be a part of the series and stay motivated? Sign up for the series as a virtual runner and receive the same swag and interlocking finisher medals as series participants, and complete the distance on your own!
Individual race registration is not available for the 2021 series. Participants must register for the full series in-person series or virtual series.

Face coverings must be worn during packet pick-up.
- No-Risk Registration - We understand these are uncertain times. Our intention is to host an in-person event. However, should the health situation change and we are unable to host the event, all runners will be able to defer to 2021-2022 or run the event virtually. If the event is canceled prior to December 31, 2020, participants will have the option to choose between a refund, deferral, or to run the event virtually. Registration is only available online. In-person registration is not available at packet pick-up or race day.
- Refund Policy - No refunds will be given after December 27, 2020. Processing fees are non-refundable. Entries are not transferable to another event but can be transferred to another participant. Additional entry fees will be due at the time of transfer. Please contact jules@fleetfeetstlouis.com to transfer. A $3 processing fee will be applied to all refunds and transfers. - Inclement Weather Policy: The safety of our participants and volunteers is our highest priority. Races will be held rain, snow, or shine and will not be canceled except for cases of severe weather or unsafe road/course conditions. If severe weather is present, we will post an update on the Facebook Page and at the top of this page by 6:00 am the morning of the event at the latest. Less threatening conditions may cause alterations of the course or race day activities to ensure participant, volunteer, and community safety. No refunds or credits will be given in case of cancellation due to weather.
- Health Survey: All participants will be required to complete an online health survey prior to participation and be negative for symptoms of COVID-19 in order to participate in each race. The survey will be emailed out prior to the event.
- What if I have a positive COVID-19 test or show symptoms of COVID-19? If you have a positive COVID-19 test or are showing symptoms (click here for a full list of symptoms) we ask that you do not attend the event. Participants who fall into this category can complete their distance virtually after their quarantine period. We will award the finisher medal at a later date after their quarantine period. After the participant's quarantine period of 10 days is complete, they can continue to participate in the series events.
- What if someone tests positive for COVID-19? If at any time during the series a participant/volunteer/staff tests positive for COVID-19, they must inform the Fleet Feet St. Louis within 48 hours. Fleet Feet St. Louis is responsible for informing participants within the affected participants starting wave and those who finish within close proximity. By completing series registration is an acknowledgment of this responsibility.
- COVID-19 Status: Our intention is to be able to hold this event in person. We are working on plans to take all necessary precautions to make this a safe event during the COVID-19 situation based on the latest/greatest guidelines as the event approaches. As we finalize those plans and precautions and have them in place, we will include them in race communications closer to the race date. Participant safety is our number one concern, so if it is deemed unsafe to have an in-person event, the race will be switched to an all-virtual event. Should we have to hold the event virtually, we will automatically switch all participants to the virtual event and send details on how to obtain your race swag and submit your virtual times. If you do not want to participate in the virtual event, you can defer your entry to our 2021-2022 event. We will contact all participants in the event that it goes virtual with further instructions.
- Swag Policy & Exchange: Exchanging swag will be on a very limited basis. We will not be able to exchange any swag that has been handed out and taken home. If there is swag available, exchanges will only take on 1/15 & 1/16 if supplies are available. Swag must be picked up by 1/30/2020. We will no longer guarantee it after this date.
- Are dogs allowed at the event or allowed to participate? We love dogs, but dogs are not allowed at this event or allowed to participate in the race.
- Strollers are welcomed, we just ask that you start towards the back of the field.
- Will there be on-course support? Yes, we will have course marshals and traffic control on the course. Athletic Trainers will be available at the finish line.
- Will there be on course Aid Stations? No, there will not be on-course aid stations. We highly encourage and recommend participants carry all hydration needs.
