Celebrate National Pet day and bond with your furry BFF by being part of Manitoba Marathon’s 2nd Annual Fast and Furry Virtual run!
Complete a 5K or 10K walk or run with your favorite four-legged friend any day between April 1st and 11th , 2021 and you will be rewarded with a medal for you and a matching pet tag medal for your partner! Registration is limited will close on February 28, 2021!
This year, we are encouraging all participants to support the Winnipeg Humane Society! Be sure to make a generous donation when you register to support the great work they do to support all our furry friends!
Here’s how you can participate:
- REGISTER by February 28, 2021. Registration is limited so don’t delay!
- You will have the option of curbside pick up, or mail delivery**(for an additional fee) of your medal and your race bib prior to race date, so put it in a safe place in advance of the big day
- Run or walk your 5K or 10K any day between April 1st and 11th, 2021. Share your run in any of the following ways:
- Post a photo or a screen grab from your fitness app (Strava, Fitbit, Garmin, Smashrun, etc.) on Instagram or Facebook tagging Manitoba Marathon and using #runWpg
- Not on social media? Email a photo or screen grab to running@manitobamarathon.mb.ca
- Present your pet and yourself with your medals and a reward treat – you’ve earned it!

All 10km participants will receive a Race bib and Finisher's medal and a finisher's medal and special treat for their Furry Friend! **Please note that the pet treats contain peanut butter. If you or anyone in your household has an allergy, please select "no" to the treats in registration. Pet Treats are perishable and cannot be sent through the mail.** Please choose how you would like to receive your package. Curbside pick is encouraged, but domestic and international shipping are available for an extra fee below.
