Our story…
Hi All,
I am sure by now you know our family's many connections to Hearth Place. I volunteered for many years doing counselling and art with kids affected by cancer. Mike, Jarrett, Kendra and the Woodland Homes team donated their time to building the addition to the centre. We have attended many events for this great organization.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2019, Hearth Place was an invaluable resource that helped me through that difficult and emotional journey. I have made lasting friends with staff and the women in my support groups. I learned firsthand how their support makes all the difference in the world.
This is an incredible organization that I have been involved with on both the giving and receiving ends. The pandemic has made fundraising very challenging. Unfortunately cancer does not stop or slow down during a pandemic. Please donate what you can -every dollar helps.
