The 2021 Kelowna Wine Country 5km, 10km and Half Marathon runs are back for an in-person event (virtual option also available). This year we have created a plan that is safe for all of our registrants. We have made a few changes to accommodate our current state of the world. Runners will now start in heats with a maximum of 50 people starting at the start line for each length of the run. At the finish line you will receive your finisher bag that will include: your finisher medal, your souvenir t-shirt, your commemorative wine glass and coupons from our suppliers. In order to ensure that we do not exceed event capacity we will not be able to allow runners to loiter when they finish.
As part of this change we will also not be hosting a wine, cider and beer festival at the finish line, instead we are developing a passport where local suppliers will sign up and provide complimentary tasting in their tasting rooms for the weekend of our run for our participants.

The Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon accentuates the amazing beauty of the Okanagan Lake and the surrounding valley. The course offers eye-popping vistas along the route and runs through scenic county roads, landmarks, greenways and lakefront parks, finishing in Waterfront Park for the trademark Wine, Beer, Cider & Music Festival. It’s hard to imagine a more scenic and engaging course, anywhere.
