Thank you so much for donating to research in the fight against pancreatic cancer! This is a cause I hold close to my heart, having lost my mom to pancreatic cancer after a long and courageous battle. It is a devastating cancer with one of the highest mortality rates because of how late it is usually detected, leading to a 5 year survival rate of only 5-10% of patients. More research needs to be done for better screening and better treatments need to be made available, but that takes more research into understanding how pancreatic cancer works.
