2021 US Trail Running Conference

October 27-30, 2021 - Fayetteville, AR
Whether you’re an experienced trail runner, an ultrarunner, a trail newbie, a Trail Race Director, a fan of the sport, or somewhere in between, the ninth annual US Trail Running Conference, presented by Race Roster, is for you. The Conference is held in partnership with the American Trail Running Association, and brought to you by Active at Altitude.
 | The ninth edition of the US Trail Running Conference returns to Fayetteville, AR, for the second consecutive year. We look forward to an exciting event in a location that looked after us superbly in 2020, and to meeting Race Directors and Trail Runners from the Eastern side of the US, as well as across the country. The Conference takes place in the Fayetteville Town Center - there is ample parking nearby both at the Center, or in downtown Fayetteville. The Town Center provides an excellent facility that we were able to organize in 2020 so that it provided a safe and respectful environment for all participants. We hope that COVID will be in a different place in October 2021, and have confidence that we can host another safe Conference that is respectful to particpants and organizers whatever the status is at that time. |
The primary accommodation option for all attendees is Graduate Fayetteville, with room options during the Conference starting at $129 per night.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the 2021 Conference has content geared to Trail Race Directors, including panels, round table sessions, and breakout sessions to share information and brainstorm ideas that our surveys have found are critical for all Trail Race RD’s. The event also includes a top-level expo featuring vendors that provide products or services relevant to Trail Race Directors.
You can choose to attend for the entire Conference, or you have options to include portions of the Conference to suit your schedule. You also have the option to include the trail runner sessions on Saturday October 30. We will also include fun runs on local trails in Fayetteville during the Conference.
The rates for Trail Race Directors include access to all workshops and sessions, networking events where featured, access to expo, lunch on the full days, and refreshments at break times. There will also be a Conference app available. See the full schedule for Trail Race Directors here.
The final Saturday of the Conference on October 30, offers content dedicated to Trail Runners. With speaker panels, guest elite athletes, interactive workshops, demo products, this is an event that Trail Runners will not want to miss!

Webinar series - we will be introducing a monthly webinar series for Trail Race Directors starting in January 2021 running through until September 2021 - there are registration options for 1 webinar up to and including the complete series. You can see more details on this exciting series at this link.

50% discount code available for members of or referrals from organizations and groups that correspond to underrepresented categories in the sport e.g. Black Girls Run, Latinos Run, Black Men Run, Trail Sisters, OUTRUN, United in Stride, Achilles, military or veterans – note that these are examples, this offer is not limited only to these groups.
ATRA members – all ATRA members receive a 25% discount off registration options for Race Directors, webinars, and Trail Runner in person standard rate option only.

When you register you have options to become a member of ATRA, as well as help fundraise for ATRA. We will update you with news on these programs. In 2020, the Conference raised nearly $1500 for ATRA.
