Por Los Niños

Por Los Niños is an all volunteer educational foundation.  We started in 2005 with the idea of helping one community to build a classroom – at this point, we have built 135 classrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and playgrounds, including 14 new schools. Our nutrition program feeds 30,000+ breakfasts and lunches a year to hungry students, and we have helped to provide hundreds of scholarships. In addition, Por los Niños also provided a well to provide water to 2 schools.   With schools currently closed and so many out of work, the food program has now evolved into community kitchens where up to 300 meals a day and 300 hampers a week are being provided to the families.
