2021 Cincinnati Aruna Run

OVERVIEW

On Monday, September 6 (Labor Day), the Aruna Project will host the 12th Annual Cincinnati Aruna Run featuring a 5-Mile, 5K, and 1-Mile race. Races start and end at Smale Park. The Elite 1-Mile race, held immediately prior to the start of the regular 1-mile race, consists of two fields -- male and female.

Details

- Each field will consist of a maximum of 20 participants selected by the fastest submitted qualifying times.
- Application is required to be considered. Submit either:

  • Best 1500, 1-Mile, or 5K race time from 2019-2021
  • Strava link or GPS screen shot of best 1600, 1-Mile, or 5K run time

- Discounted entry fee of $10 - 100% of fee goes to free, employ, and empower enslaved women
- Female race starts at 9:30 a.m. and male race starts at 9:45 a.m.
- Qualifying times: Sub 5:45 min/mile for men and sub 6:00 min/mile for women

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for both male and female first and second place winners. Check back for more details. Timing and prizes will be based on gun timing.

Registration Process

- Click the "Apply" button below.
- Complete and submit the application registration form.
- Notification of acceptance into the race will be made via e-mail.
- If accepted, you will be provided with an access code to register for the Elite 1-Mile race. Payment of $10 discounted entry fee will be required at this time.
