Frost Bite River Run

Welcome to the Frostbite River Run, a fundraiser in support of programming and activities at Riverview Community Centre. The Frostbite River Run is usually held as part of the Riverview Winter Classic. A series of outdoor events held in January at the community centre that embody the spirit of winter sports in our neighbourhood.

The 2021 Frost Bite River Run is going virtual. Registered runners will have from Sunday, January 24th to Sunday, February 28th to complete their selected distance - 5 miles or 5 kilometres.

The Frost Bite River Run is special for a whole lot of reasons…

• It’s in happening in the deep, dark winter months. In Winnipeg. Pick your day to run. It's bound to be cold regardless.
• Now you can choose from a 5 mile or 5km distance!
• You could win a supplies for a month or pre-run breakfasts or a fantastic post-race Chile con Carne meal for five or a free winter warmer shot* in your coffee or hot chocolate! (*must be legal drinking age) We're bringing the Frost Bite River Run's special touches to you!
• Great draw prizes and a special finishers medal!
• All net-proceeds support Riverview Community Centre programming and activities!
