Our story…
Hello friends and family. We all know last year was kind of ...different. Challenging. Exhausting too! As the famous quote goes "Be the change you want to see in the world.". So for 2021 my friend, Kris Elliott and I are going to fundraise for Wounded Warriors Canada by participating in their first ever Virtual 10K.
We are asking everyone we know to consider donating $5.00 to this cause. I am inspired by Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope from years ago whereby he asked all Canadians to donate One dollar. While we could never reach that many people, hopefully we can spread the word among some of the people who we have met over the years.
We are also inspired by the AMAZING Jacqueline Zweng. She has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for Wounded Warriors Canada over the past five years. She even participated in a team run while still undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Her dedication and devotion to this cause is outstanding!
