More about Santa's Posse:
Santa’s Posse is a partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and many community sponsors. In 1997, Santa’s Posse was created as a way of contributing back to our community and helping families in need during the holiday season. What started with the delivery of food, gifts, and personal care items to 25 families has expanded to 1,200 plus families. This year, Santa’s Posse will provide Christmas for over 3,200 children in our community.
Santa's Posse Mission Statement: A partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the local community working together to collect and distribute toys and food to make a special Christmas holiday for less fortunate families in our community. With the COVID-19 crisis, this year we are faced with more families to help and fewer funds coming in.
Santa's Posse is an all-volunteer nonprofit. We intend to use the funds for purchasing toys and non-perishable food from the Clark County Food Bank. We will spend close to $60,000 on toys, gift cards, and s Our partnerships with the community continue to grow each year. We are grateful to the numerous sponsors and the more than 1000 plus volunteers who support Santa’s Posse, along with many generous corporate sponsors. Together, we are able to make it possible for Santa’s Posse to increase the number of families receiving help each year.
