The Sole Sisters Virtual 5K Run/Walks can be done in one day or several days. You decide when/where/time and most importantly the race is open to EVERYONE, it is not limited to women only! Our 2021 theme highlights the HER in HERo so we want you to join in to celebrate the HERo in your life. We "think" this will be the last year for virtual only racing and are planning to get together again in 2022.
You are encouraged to do these virtual races anytime from now until December 31, 2021. However, our registration will close on August 31, 2021.
We wanted to create a virtual event that would be as affordable as we possible so the kit includes a finisher medal, face mask and race bib but no shirt. If you are interested in purchasing merchandise please go to the Sole Sisters website.
Shipping is within Canada only. Please make sure you include your correct shipping address. And if you register for 2 races in 2021 please alert email stacy@solesistersrace.com so that we can include the Tutu Challenge Medal (while supplies last).

2020 Sole Sisters Shirt and Tutu Pick Up
2020 Sole Sisters and Little Miss Sole Sisters that did not receive their race swag (shirts and tutus) we will be offering you three opportunities to pick up your swag (or have a friend do it). Those dates are Sunday, January 31st, February, 28th and May 2nd [with the April 23rd restrictions we will not be holding this swag pick up] from 1pm to 3pm at Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott located in Dartmouth Crossing at 35 Shubie Drive, Dartmouth, NS B3B 0G2. Final public swag pick up is Saturday, June 26th from 10am-12pm at 45 Graham's Grove, Dartmouth.
If you would prefer to have items shipped to you at your cost please send an email to stacy@solesistersrace.com and we can give you an estimate for shipping costs (from $10 - $22).
Why Another Virtual Race in 2021
Sole Sisters Women’s Race cares too much about you, our volunteers, spectators and sponsors to rush to offer an event without full confidence that the environment we provide is encouraging and safe. Walking/Running a 5K, Quarter or Half Marathon is an achievement that can be hard enough on its own (oh those hills) without anxiety about potential exposure to Covid-19.
So while we know nothing replaces the excitement and energy of an in-person race we are announcing now that we will be VIRTUAL again in 2021. Our province has done a tremendous job of keeping us safe and with vaccinations scheduled for later this year we really are excited about the return of large scale events in 2022. We will be back to in-person racing (plus a virtual option for those that want it) in 2022!
Deferrals from 2020
For 2020 Sole Sisters that deferred their race to 2021, your race kits will also be available at Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott located in Dartmouth Crossing at 35 Shubie Drive, Dartmouth, NS B3B 0G2 on January 31st, February, 28th and May 2nd from 1pm to 3pm or by arrangement with your Race Director stacy@solesistersrace.com. Deferrals will not roll past 2021. If you email us, we can bring on Saturday, June 26th from 10am to 12pm at 45 Graham's Gove, Dartmouth.
