The MOVE430 challenge is a virtual event that challenges you to move for 30 minutes each day in April.
Simply commit to any MOVEment which includes running, walking, hiking, biking and/or swimming for at least 30 minutes for 30 consecutive days beginning April 1st, 2021 and track it to complete the challenge!

Entry
Individual Entry - CAD $30.00 per person (100% goes towards kids in sport)

What is the MOVE430 Challenge?
- The MOVE430 challenge is a virtual event that challenges you to commit to any MOVEment for at least 30 minutes for 30 consecutive days during the month of April and requires you to track it to complete the challenge! #MOVE430

Who Can Participate In This Challenge?
- This Challenge is Open To All Ages!
What counts as an activity?
- Run, Hike, Walk, Swim, Bike. These activities can be indoors or outdoors.
- Please be mindful of your own limitations and be sure to consult a health professional if you have any questions about your own health to participate in this challenge.
- There is no requirement for speed, distance, or any additional metric beyond 30 minutes of activity.
Are there other activities that would qualify? For Example, Dance, Soccer?
- The aim of this challenge is to get people moving and exercising for a minimum of 30 consecutive minutes. Activities like dance or soccer, while they get you moving, aren’t always consistent movement.
What is the cost?
- $30.00
- Included is a Kidsport Swag, Digital Challenge Badges, KidSport MOVE430 custom finisher medal to all participants who complete the challenge

Where Does This Challenge Take Place?
- This is a virtual event; please respect your local health organization’s recommendations on Covid-19 safety.
Where are my funds going?
- 100% of your registration fees go to KidSport Langley grants to families in need. Grants are provided to families to help cover the cost of sports programs for youth.

- Registration is February 15, 2021 - March 31st, 2021
What is Kidsport?
We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport. Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $300 per child/season, for kids who live in Langley, or in one of the other communities we serve.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joys of a season of sport. Abundant research exists that proves sport participation enhances academic performance, improves health and develops valuable life skills in the areas of teamwork, socialization, goal setting and time management.
Our mission….to remove the financial barriers that prevent some children from playing organized sport!

When do I have to complete each activity?
- Activities need to be completed each day before midnight in order to be counted towards completion
Where do I track my activity?

How long do I have to track an activity?
- Best practice is to track your activity daily for the full 30 days (April 1-30).
- Participants will be given a 48 hour grace period to catch up on the previous day(s) activity tracking.
How do I finish the Challenge?
- Complete 30 consecutive days of 30 minutes of activity and fill in the tracking form for each activity daily.

How are prizes awarded?
- Prizes are awarded by random draw. You must complete the challenge (all 30 days of activity and tracking) in order to be eligible for prizing
- For daily prizing you must have completed your activity and filled out the activity tracker in order to qualify for that day’s prizing. Weekly prizes will be awarded in the same fashion. The grand prize is awarded by random draw for all finishers. Social media prizes will be drawn by random generator from all participants who share using the hashtag #move430
Where can I pick up my prize?
- Prizes can be picked up from Peninsula Runners Langley (1-20349 88th Ave. Langley BC) from May 1-31
- If you do not live in the lower mainland or word like your medial/prize mailed to your please confirm during registration. Shipping fee will be applied to your registration
